Sheesh specializes in Lebanese food with a Mediterranean flair, made fresh — the way a Lebanese table is meant to be eaten: shared, generous, and brought out plate by plate.
It starts with mezze — homous blended with sesame sauce, a trace of garlic and lemon; baba ghanouj from eggplant charred over the grill. Then the char grill takes over: sheesh kabob of lamb or beef, marinated tawook, kafta seasoned with onions and parsley, shawarma sliced from the rotisserie.
Alongside them sit the traditional plates that don't change with fashion — baked kibbee layered with cracked wheat, mjadra of lentils cooked slowly with onions and olive oil, arayes with pine nuts and almonds. Juices are squeezed to order. Nothing is meant to sit and wait.
We're open seven days a week for lunch and dinner on Five Mile Road, for dining in, carry-out and delivery through our ordering partners.
